Marc Zale is an award winning Real Estate broker with Compass. As a nationally recognized agent, Zale was ranked by Real Trends in 2021 in the top 1.5% of all agents in the country. Locally, Zale has been recognized by the Chicago Association of Realtors as a perennially top producer since 2018. Included in the Whose Who 2021 Edition in Chicago Agent Magazine, Zale has also been featured in Chicago Magazine and Real Producers.
Raised in Lincoln Park, Marc has spent his entire adult life in Real Estate...
Starting out as a mortgage broker in 2002, he cut his teeth in lending and Real Estate financing – working with a variety of buyers, lenders and loan products.
When the financial crisis of 2008 came, Marc transitioned from lending into Real Estate management, development and multi-family acquisitions. Developing properties, in particular, would prove to be incredibly valuable down the road as a broker – allowing an intricate understanding of construction, building materials and the ability to identify quality work.
After a decade of purchasing multi family properties, rehabbing apartment buildings and managing nearly 100 units – Marc transitioned full time to licensed Real Estate broker in 2017. Since then he has sold nearly $100,000,000.00 worth of Real Estate and is currently ranked in the top 1.5% of all agents in Chicago and the suburbs. In 2021, he was inducted by Compass into the Legend’s Society and has appeared in multiple publications (including Chicago Magazine). He also won Chicago Association of Realtors awards every year since 2018.
